The MakerTruck is the SMU Maker Education Project’s mobile makerspace. It’s filled with high-tech and low-tech tools and resources and is driven by knowledgeable team members who are eager to bring Maker-Based Instruction to educators. We engage educators in a variety of professional development experiences. For example, we help teachers develop maker-based activities, implement our open-source curriculum, and put their makerspace tools and resources to use. We deliver these resources and experiences out of the back of the MakerTruck, a mobile makerspace.
