SMU Maker Education Project presents at the International Symposium on Academic Makerspaces, November 2017

In November 2017, Sunjoli Aggrawal, a Lyle student, Rickey Crum, Lab Manager of the Deason Innovation Gym, Professor Rob Rouse and Katie Krummeck presented several papers and posters at the International Symposium on Academic Makerspaces, including “Designing an Immersive Design Challenge: Digitally Fabricated, Solar Charging Station for Public Spaces,” “Designing to Support a Robust Maker Culture in a University Makerspace,” “Immersive Design Challenge: Digitally Fabricated, Solar Charging Station for Public Spaces,” and “University makerspaces as workplaces for K-12 STEM educators.”
